  1. Tom Says:

DeMint said this in today’s spart. paper:

Regarding Romney’s low showing in the South Carolina poll, DeMint said, “When I started my race, I was in fourth place in the Republican primary. Everyone said the same thing about me: There’s no way I could win.

“The thing is, when you’re very well known, and at 35 percent, that’s not necessarily a good thing.”

  2. scchaser Says:

    Tom,

We agree with Senator DeMint. It is way too early to worry about polls too much, they are largely a product of name ID alone.

Still fun to talk about though!
