We already know about Warren Tompkins, Terry Sullivan, and George Ramsey, but what about the rest of Romney’s SC team? Well folks, here it is…
Mitt Romney has snatched up a good chunk of the South Carolina Republican Victory 2006 team as well as a couple more all stars to organize his ground troops. He even snagged a former Lindsey Graham staffer.

Coalitions Director Mike Green: Mike received his start with the Beasley for Governor Campaign in 1994 working on youth recruitment. Mike has served as Communications Director for Ravenel for Senate, has been Chairman of the Upstate Young Republicans, and was elected as an alternate delegate for the 2004 Republican National Convention. Most recently he served as Campaign Manager for Karen Floyd for Superintendent of Education.
Field Manager Katie Baham: In 2006, Katie served as a field representative for the SCGOP’s Victory Campaign after serving as field staff for Ryberg for Treasurer. While earning her B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina from 2004-2006, Katie worked for SC Senate Pro Tempore Glenn McConnell and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Field Manager And Youth Director Franklin Buchanan: Franklin got his start in 2004 when he co-chaired the USC College Republicans during Jim DeMint’s successful campaign for US Senate, after which he served as the State Chair of the College Republicans. Since earning his B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2006, Franklin has worked with Ryberg for Treasurer, a number of SC House races, and Hugh Weathers for Commissioner of Agriculture.
Field Manager Becky Fleming: After earning her degree from the University of South Carolina, Becky had the honor of working with the late Senator Strom Thurmond from 1997-2003. Since returning to South Carolina, she has worked with Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer and Floyd for Superintendent of Education. Most recently, Becky served as field staff for the SCGOP’s Victory 2006 Campaign.
Field Manager McNeil Epps: While earning his degree from Presbyterian College, McNeil assisted in several local races as a member of the PC College Republicans. After recently receiving his B.A. in Political Science, McNeil served as a field representative for the SCGOP’s successful Victory 2006 Campaign.
Field Manager Susan Chapman: Susan has a lifetime of experience in Republican Party politics. She was the Outreach Director for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and worked for the GOP’s Victory 2000, 2002 and 2004 operations. She also served on the 2000 recount team in Broward County, Florida, and was appointed to the Bush-Cheney Inaugural Committee in 2001. Susan also served on the Anderson County District Five School Board for 20 years.
Hotline on Call reports today that Heath Thompson, the 3rd pillar of TTS, is still unaffiliated and working with Scott Howell & Company in Texas.
