WOW! This may just be the worst article we have ever read. Seanna…were you having a bad day or what?

Get this. The title is “Hunter taps like-minded conservatives in S.C. to lead campaign.” It goes on to talk about how those like-minded conservatives ignored an abused child and hates buddhists and muslims.

Lois Eargle told an illegal immigrant with an ABUSED CHILD to “get back to Mexico.” And Henry Jordan said ”screw the Buddhists and kill the Muslims.”

Now we hate illegal immigration as much as everyone, but we are talking about an abused child here.

Lesson of the day – Don’t tell Seanna Adcox that you have a “major announcement” unless you really have a major announcement. She obviously doesn’t like for you to waste her time.

The Hunter campaign may get mad at us, but you guys are running for President of the United States here. You had better reign in your surrogates, because that statement by Louis Eargle made us spit coffee through our nose.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ Known for his conservative views on immigration, Republican presidential candidate DuncanHunter on Thursday tapped like-minded South Carolinians to help run his campaign in this early voting state.

One of them, Horry County Auditor Lois Eargle, touted her hard-line stance on illegal immigrants during a news conference at the Statehouse. The former county GOP chairwoman said an illegal immigrant with three children came to her office this week asking for free legal help for an abused child.

”I told her the best thing for her to do was to get back to Mexico,” she said.

Hunter, a California congressman who is considered a long-shot to win the White House, said if a fence was not built along the Mexican border by 2009, as president he would ensure it was ”built start to finish in six months.”

Hunter also named former state Rep. Tom Marchant and Dr. Henry Jordan campaign co-chairmen. Jordan made headlines nearly a decade ago for his disparaging comments about Muslims and Buddhists.

The former state school board member in 1997 crudely dismissed the two groups during a school board meeting for their likely opposition to posting the Ten Commandments in schools, saying ”screw the Buddhists and kill the Muslims.”

He apologized for his remarks then and said Thursday only the media remembers the comment.

An unsuccessful candidate for lieutenant governor both in 1996 and last year, Jordan said in May that science does not support Darwin’s theory that man evolved from monkeys. He said students should learn ”intelligent design” along with evolution.

”I mean you’ve got to be stupid to believe in evolution, I mean really,” he told The Associated Press then.

Duncan called Jordan ”a great, conservative Republican leader” who agrees with him on strengthening the border, national defense and protecting jobs from going overseas.

Duncan said he did not know about Jordan’s comments.
